Margaret Hansen who I met at the Medicine 2.0 Congress in Toronto is thinking about creating a community site for nursing education.

I thought we should ask her to join us and build her community within ours. What do you think?

A site for nursing education is an excellent idea. I suspect nurses have a different use of the internet and elearning to other health professionals and it would be interesting to hear what they need and use.

Berci,

Please help me if you can... We're planning to start Forensic Nursing education in our department. This course or even the concept is unknown in Hungary, I need some teaching materia, experienced teacher contacts to adapt this initiative into the hungarian nursing education system.

Since I started out on this journey (trying to find an online community of medical educators) I have been almost as successful at finding colleagues in OT and midwifery education, as in medicine. I am all for having access open to anyone. At the same time I think NING is quite limited in it utility but I will start another discussion on that!
