Dear Medical Education Evolution Members!

First, thank you for joining the community and for adding your valuable thoughts to the discussions.

Second, as some of us organize university courses about medicine 2.0 or health 2.0 and as the Google Document containing the database of useful medical links is still growing, I can't wait to see the results in 2009.

I hope we can build a concept on how to reform medical education worldwide with the tools of web 2.0.

A few facts from 2008:

- We have 95 members.

- We have 22 discussions (longest one is Great resources online)

- Deirdre Bonnycastle has posted the most videos.

- Jennifer McCabe Gorman has added the most photos.

Let's work even harder for a better education in 2009 (as Sir Ken Robinson described)

Happy New Year!

Hi Berci
I was going to reply on your blog when I saw you writhe this: "This July, Jen McCabe Gorman, Ted Eytan, and me created a Ning community for those who are interested in changing medical education. We’re working on a new concept and plan to find a medical school that would use it. Feel free to join us and let us know your thoughts." but though here would be better.
This community doesn't seem to have very much happening. What are you, Jen and Ted planning behind the scenes?

I've been trying to get a few discussions going without success and am curious. What is this NING for?

This has been my ongoing frustration with NING communities, the lack of interaction. That said the ones that are successful seem to host regular events such as http://images4education.ning.com/ and http://www.classroom20.com/
